From classic vintage echoes to expansive stereo textures, Stereophonica combines authentic analog-inspired tone with modern flexibility.

Two selectable record heads, four independently controlled playback heads, and individual Volume and Pan controls allow you to build anything from subtle ambience to complex rhythmic delay patterns that move naturally across the stereo field.

Unlike traditional delay pedals, Stereophonica lets every playback head become part of the performance. Pan echoes from left to right, blend multiple playback heads, drive the recording stage into rich magnetic saturation, or create lush Swell effects with the turn of a switch.

Built for both studio professionals and adventurous musicians, Stereophonica features true balanced stereo I/O, Kill Dry, expression pedal control, and full MIDI implementation for seamless integration into modern recording and live rigs.

Handcrafted in Denmark by T-Rex Effects, Stereophonica brings one of the most iconic echo concepts ever created into a completely new dimension.

Features

World's first true stereo magnetic drum delay

Real rotating magnetic drum

Inspired by the legendary Binson Echorec

True balanced stereo inputs and outputs

Two selectable record heads (Short & Long)

Four independently switchable playback heads

Individual Volume and Pan control for every playback head

Wide stereo imaging with independent panning

Authentic magnetic saturation and harmonic character

Variable drum speed with expression pedal support

Repeat and Swell modes

Kill Dry for studio routing and parallel effects

Full MIDI implementation

Handcrafted in Denmark

Tech Specs

Input impedance @ 1KHz

> 500K Ohm

Output impedance @ 1KHz

< 1K Ohm

Power supply (included)

24V DC, centre negative, 2.0 mm centre pin.
We recommend using the original power supply!

Current draw @ 24VDC

350mA

Maximum input signal

2,5 to 3,00 Volt pp Instrument input is adjustable

External connectors

Instrument Input, balanced Input left and right,
non-balanced input, left and right, balanced output,
left and right, non-balanced output, left and right, DC power inlet,
Expression pedal input for speed and feedback control.
